Potential:

'Over 20 Million diving certificates worldwide show that scuba diving is one of the most popular holiday activities. In Germany alone more than 2 Million people are owning a diving certificate.' (Source: Bruno Media 2007)

Between 2001 and 2010 the diving federation PADI gave out more than 1 Million diving certificates (that amount reached a total of 20 Milllion by 2010; Source: PADI global certification and member statistic). Adding other federations like CMAS, SSI etc. this number might reach the double.

Target:

• Developing a schedule of underwater events to guarantee continuing and permanent diving tourism (scuba diving, apnoe, snorkeling etc.)
  

• Arouse attention to save the marine world and increase natural protection
