Demonstration of pressure change in planes
(04.05.2011) For scuba divers it is recommended not to fly at least 24 hours after the latest dive. This photo shows why: the bottle was closed at maximum hight (ca. 10.000m = low pressure). After landing (higher pressure) the bottle shrinked about 20%. The changing cabin pressure is the reason why divers are facing a decompressin accident if they fly directly after a deep dive.
